Matcha Ice Cream:

  1. Whisk the Heavy Cream and sugar together in a medium-sized bowl until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is creamy and frothy.

  2. Add to the mixture the condensed milk and top it with the vanilla extract.

  3. Meanwhile, mix the Matcha powder in water to completely dilute the clumps of powder. (This will make it easier to mix).

  4. Pour the Matcha mixture into the bowl and mix everything together.

  5. Transfer to a sealable container and store in the freezer for 8-12 hours.

  6. Or, prepare it in an ice-cream-maker!

Matcha Syrup:

  1. Add the water, sugar, and matcha into a saucepan.

  2. Cook on medium heat and mix the ingredients well until fully combined.

  3. Then remove from the heat and cool until it is of desired consistency.

Milkshake:

  1. Combine the Matcha ice cream and milk in a blender.

  2. Add in the sugar and additional Matcha powder (to your liking)!

  3. Blend on high for 20 seconds or until thick and smooth.

  4. Pour into a glass or mug and top with whipped cream, marshmallows, and Matcha syrup.

  5. You can also add a Matcha powdered sugar mixture on top!

What is great about this recipe is that if you can also substitute homemade Matcha ice cream by blending vanilla ice cream with a couple tsp of Matcha! It is a great alternative!
