Healthy & Energizing Matcha Date Bites (Gluten free & Vegan!!)


I love incorporating dates into my recipes because it is a great way to satiate my sweet-tooth, without any added refined sugar! Likewise, I love heart-healthy walnuts and almonds! 

Today, I wanted to try a delicious and simple snack recipe using dates, walnuts, almond butter, almond flour, and of course Matcha!

These date bites are 100% gluten-free, refined-sugar-free, and vegan, (not to mention they are packed with antioxidant-rich and immune-boosting Matcha green tea! They make a great afternoon snack or even dessert!

Prep time: 10 Minutes

Yields: 11 Balls


For the Date Bites:
  1. Pitted Dates... 10
  2. Walnuts... 1/4 up
  3. Almond flour... 1/4 cup
  4. Almond butter... 1 tbsp
  5. Coconut Oil... 1 tbsp
  6. MariMatcha Matcha powder... 1 tsp


  1. In a bowl, add in the chopped dates, walnuts, almond flour, and MariMatcha Matcha powder, and coconut oil, and mix well. 

  2. Transfer the ingredients to a food processor and blend until it becomes a paste (you should be able to mold with it). 

  3. Shape into small bite-sized balls. 

  4. For an extra antioxidant boost, sift on more MariMatcha Powder! 

  5. Lastly, enjoy with a delicious and antioxidant rich cup of MariMatcha!
