Healthy Matcha Chocolate Swirl Cake (Gluten Free) 


These are ten easy steps to make and enjoy the most deliciously moist marble Matcha-chocolate cake! It is such a great pick-me-up snack in the afternoon!


  • 1.5 cups of Pillsbury Gluten free flour

  • 1/2 cup of almond flour 

  • 1/2 cup of coconut flour

  • 3/4 cup of coconut sugar

  • 2 tsp of baking powder

  • 1.5 tsp of baking soda

  • pinch of salt 

  • 3 eggs

  • 3/4 cup of extra light virgin olive oil 

  • 3/4 cup of coconut milk 

  • 2 tsp of vanilla

  • 2 tsp of MariMatcha powder

  • 1/2 cup of extra dark unsweetened chocolate powder


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit & boil some water; set aside.

  2. Butter and flour a bundt pan and set aside. 

  3. Mix together the gluten free flour, almond flour, coconut flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. 

  4. Then, mix the eggs, extra light virgin olive oil, coconut milk, vanilla

  5. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together and then separate the mixture into two separate bowls (while you make up the chocolate and matcha mixtures) and set aside. 

  6. Mix 1/2 cup of the boiling water with 1/2 cup extra dark unsweetened chocolate powder. Then, mix into one separated bowl mixture from step #5. Set aside. 

  7. In a separate coffee cup, mix two teaspoons of MariMatcha Green Tea with 1/2 cup of water. Then, mix the Matcha mixture into the other bowl mixture from step #5 (the one without the chocolate). 

  8. Now that you have two separate bowls of mixtures of Matcha and chocolate, pour them separately into the buttered bundt pan, alternating between pouring in the Matcha and chocolate mixtures. 

  9. Place the bundt cake into the preheated oven (350F) and let cook for 35-40 minutes until a knife comes out clean when you check for how well it has been cooked.

  10. Let cool for 20-30 minutes and enjoy! It is especially delicious when served hot with a cup of hot MariMatcha!
