Energy-packed Peanut Butter & Oatmeal Matcha Energy Bites

Around 2:00pm everyday, my stomach grumbles for a protein filled and sweet snack. Longing for the cream taste of Matcha tea and the wakefulness that it brings, I decided to make these cute and filling Matcha energy bites - perfect as an afternoon snack!

The vibrant green Matcha energizes me with soothing and calm energy and focus, while the peanut butter and oatmeal keep me satisfied till the evening!


These protein energy bites are quick and easy to make!
So let's check them out!

matcha peanut butter oatmeal energy bites


Prep time: 10 Minutes

Wait time: 30 mins

Yields: ~15-17


Ingredients:

 

For the Energy Bites

  • Oatmeal... 1 cup
  • Coconut flakes... 1/4 cup
  • Honey... 1/4 cup
  • Peanut butter... 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate chips... 3 tbsp
  • MariMatcha Matcha powder... 1 tbsp

Toppings:

  • Powdered Sugar Matcha!... for an antioxidant boost!
    • 1 tsp of MariMatcha Matcha
    • 2 1/2 tsp of Powdered Sugar

 

 

Directions:

 

  1. Pour all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl.




  2. Fold together until it is sticky and evenly mixed.
  3. Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 30-40 mins to harden.
  4. Scoop out the desired serving amount, and roll into bite size balls.




  5. Sift the powdered sugar and Matcha into a bowl



  6. Coat the energy bites with the Matcha sugar.



  7. Enjoy with a cup of MariMatcha for energy, healthy, and happiness!
